Hot Day...
On Monday, we attempted to go to the splash park but, sadly, it wasn't open yet! So we went to ToysRUs instead and bought a hop scotch princess sprinkler! Sarah loved it - Molly hated it! Sarah wore goggles so the water wouldn't get in her eyes. This girl is seriously funny!!
Little Molly and her red checks! She has so much fun ... she just over heats herself!

Fun Times...Sunshine!
We had a really fun day yesterday, playing outside on the deck in the SUNSHINE! Dave commented that we go from 40's to 70's' here in Cleveland. Where are our 60 degree days? I like the 70's!! I insisted they wear their coats outside... Sarah insisted she did not really need her coat! She is so diplomatic, she doesn't argue, she doesn't fuss, she simply keeps stating over and over again...
Molly walks her empty stroller back and forth, while Cayden keeps an eye on her! He seriously loves that girl!
Townsend Cayden fishes away...he did catch a seahorse! The girls were so excited!
So very nice...we even had lunch outside! Good Times!
"It sure is a really warm day out here today, right Meme? I don't even think we really need our coats, do you? What do you think?"
I just smile and give in! She was right, it was a WARM day!

Dave's Birthday!
Today is Dave's birthday! We celebrated with the kids...missing Tegan & Kelley :-(
After dinner and cake with ice cream, Papa made a craft with his girl Sarah. While working, Tegan called to wish his Dad happy birthday! Dave is 52... still looking pretty good for an old man!!
Molly wanted some craft time with Papa too!! We had a really nice celebration here at home!
Happy Birthday Dave!

Sarah Walton... Perfect Form
Sarah caught in the act of jumping. I posted the series below, but it was small and I wanted to let you see her form! The pointed toes, arms outstretched, eyes down, ready to land. This child likes to do things the right way. She will check her surroundings and be sure everything is in its place.
Here is a journal entry... something I hope never to forget! I have tried to install a love of music into her. She will listen to stories of plays and then want to hear the cd over and over again. Case in point, WICKED. She became Glenda and promptly named her sister Elphaba. We have watched musicals over and over again. She learns words and sings aloud. Easter brings The Sound Of Music. Sarah knows the story and listens for her favorite song... Ohdalady oh... from the puppet show. While watching the movie this year, Sarah looked up at me and asked "What were you like when you were a little girl Meme? Did you watch this movie too?" " Yes", I told her, "many, many times, just like you. I was just like you when I was little." This brought a smile to her face and to mine. We also watched Marley and Me. While Beckie, Bridget and I sobbed (oh that sad ending), Sarah sat next to me, snuggling, not quite understanding what was happening to Marley. She looked at me, put her hand on my face and said "Are you crying Meme? I am sorry you are sad right now".
I love this girl more than words can say, more than she may ever know, and more and more every day.

Some Parting Shots!
Sarah jumping onto the float and gliding across the pool.
Sarah -- the lion in her cage -- WATCH OUT
Molly Carolyn -- So brave and fearless! Ready to swim!
We had a really fun time together. We had our moments of testy-ness...moments of laughter and moments of togetherness. I wouldn't trade it! Just hoping they all feel the same!
