Cayden loves to sing.

In Florida he sang

Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun!

I asked him where he learned his new song

and he said...

"My Grandma taught me"

I wanted to tell Brenda, his Grandma, that this 

really brought a big smile to my face because

this was a song Grandma Gertie sang to my kids!!

April 29th was a big day for my friend Meigan!

Mac James was born!!

I am so happy for Katie, his mommy!

She will be a great little momma!

Mac is Meigan's 8th little gem!

Number 7 ~ Little Miss Ava was born last weekend!!

Isn't she a sweetie too?

Celeste is a great momma too

and now she has two to love~

and she found another little friend!

We had dinner together and watched the sunset.

Sarah made a picture for her salamander

and then put her out on the front step

with the cage door open.

She said..." I guess if she is still here in 

the morning, I can keep her~ she will 

want to stay with me.  But if she is gone,

I will know she went back with her family!"

In the morning she was kinda of sad to see she had

left the cage...

but she had pushed some little rocks into a 

heart shape with a big arrow shaped leaf that pointed

at the front door~ Thanking Sarah for her freedom!

Sarah said "Can you just imagine her moving all these stones

with her little legs, Meme?"

There is magic all around.

At the beach Sarah and Beckie had collected

some shells for Sarah's classmates.

Sarah laid them all out, after they were bleached

and then put two shells into a bag for

each of her friends at school!

Roxi cut little tags for the bags and Sarah

stamped shells and wrote their names

on each one.

Then we tied them with little ribbons.

All ready to go!

So thoughtful to think of her friends

at home!

 Love her!

Monday~ Dan's last day at Lemuho!

Danny decided to cut his hair while in Florida!

I really was surprised he choose to cut it, 

but I must say I loved it!

Meanwhile, Sarah had the pool to herself.

She practiced trying to stand on the float

and surf the pool!

She loved having extra time in the pool!

She is growing up so fast~ 

I love her little personality!

Uncle Danny joined her for a bit before 

he had to leave for the airport.

Then they went on a salamander hunt together.

Sarah wanted to catch a BIG ONE!

They looked,

and looked,

and looked some more.

Then they gave me the grim news~

No catch!

But then they went to the lanai and saw this one on the screen!

SCORE!

She is a beauty!

Sarah put a flower in the cage and later that night

found her friend curled up asleep inside the flower!

Time came too soon for Danny to leave!

It was so hard to say good bye to my boy~

but I am hoping he makes a trip home this summer!
