Pilates V...

Boy, do I love pilates! I have been at it now for about 4 weeks and I just think its so great. I have found a beautiful studio near my home, with an instructor who is just so comfortable to work with and is so encouraging to me! So this, plus my yoga class on Mondays with Dagmara, have really been working me over!! I am feeling really tone and tight. It is a great feeling. I am hoping and praying I have found my niche... the one that will keep me interested and working hard.

Sarah had her Halloween Parade today at school! It was a crowded, hot mess. It always is, yet, the parents, and grandparents all show up for the fun! I speak from 14 years experience, teaching at this wonderful school! We all crowd in the "big room" and wait for the kids to come into the center, sing 4 songs and then go back to their classrooms. The parking is crazy, the room is crowded, the kids are ADORABLE!! Donny took some pictures for me while I held Cayden. We laughed since the pictures he took, aimed in Sarah's general direction, are really like playing a "where's waldo" game!! Look for the Black Cat! I found her ... here she is!

Take a look at this adorable "TREAT" Sarah got from her classmate, Jack. His mama worked hard to stamp out this gem for all the kids in the class. Inside was a small bag of M & M's. So clever!
Have a great Thursday!!

Beautiful Fall!

Yesterday was a beautiful fall day here in Ohio! The sun was shinning, the leaves were falling and the girls were running!! Running from their Mom, who just wanted to smooch on them!!

Heavy Hearts

Our Tegan and Kelley Marie have suffered a miscarriage this past weekend. We were surprised with the exciting news of a new baby, one that would be due very near their wedding date. We are saddened by this loss. My heart is heavy being so far away from them both. I really just want to hold them both and cry with them. I have never experienced a miscarriage, but Beckie has, and she will, no doubt have the right things to say to her brother and to Kelley.

To Tegan, my son...
I have never been so proud of you as I am today. You have been Kelley's rock these past weeks, her comfort, someone she could cry with, the one person who understands her hopes and fears. You are a good man. I wish I could hug you in person. I am sorry you have to go through this experience. I love you very much.

To Kelley Marie,
I am also very proud of you. You faced your fears this week with an open heart. The ups and the downs, one minute, one day at a time, even though you were so scared. I found this poem I wanted to share with you.

Tiny Footprints On A Mother's Heart

When a baby arrives,
be it for a day, a week, a month, a year or more,
or perhaps only a sweet flickering moment-
the fragile spark of a tender soul
the secret swell of a new pregnancy
the goldfish flutter known only to you-
you are unmistakeningly changed...
the tiny footprints left behind on your heart
bespeak your name as Mother.

I am truly sorry that I cannot hold you, and hug you right now, and I am sorry that you have to know this sorrow. I love you.

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner...

We were invited to Danny and Dag's for dinner last night! Dagmara made a Lemon Chicken stir fry that was so delicious! Dessert was fabulous.... big, juicy, chocolate covered apples! Yum!

The table was set so pretty in a new polish table cloth from Dagmara's aunt. It is so warm and cozy in their new house! Take a peek...

The living room...

They have been working hard to finish their master suite. Here are some shots, mind you, the bed is the only thing in the room as they still have some finishing touches to add to the room!!

They took down a wall and made two rooms into one! They then took down another wall to open the room to the bathroom! Refinished the floor and purchased a king size bed!!
Dave got some playtime in with Kayla... the vicious pit bull!! This dog could not be sweeter!!
Danny and Dagmara...

So cute together! Thanks for dinner!! Our turn next!

For Sale!

Beckie and Donny are putting their house on the market. I shot some pictures for their flyers today and I had fun visiting with Sarah and Whiskers!! Sarah loves her little hamster and as for him... well, he puts up with her! After all, what choice does he have!!

Just look at those beady little eyes... Sarah's not the hamsters! Scary!

Whiskers enjoys hiding up on her head! He has turned out to be a good pet for Sarah!

I think they will miss their first little home!

Molly's bedroom...
Mommy and Daddy's bedroom...
Sarah's bedroom!!

Lots of little memories made here. Memories they will take with them where ever they go!

Keep those prayers coming...

Small Wonders

If you would be so kind, pray for small wonders. You know, the kind that if you lost, you would be heart broken. I know I will be.

Sometimes you try, and try again, and you still don't get it!!

Beckie came by with the girls after ballet last night! We had fun trying on some old recital costumes from Miss Tracy!

Just check out the princess shoes on these two! They had a ball dancing around the family room!
Then I found the bag with the new (resale shop find) tap shoes for Sarah! GG was just smiling down from heaven as Sarah jumped around in these little beauties!!
Sarah sure thought they were the GREATEST!!!
I asked Beckie to get a shot of me and my gems together....
Not so good... try again!
Nope... not yet, keep trying!!
Oh for Goodness Sake....

This would have to be my favorite!!
Oh and by the way.... No child was harmed during this 30 second process!!
