A Day in the Office!

First off....

Uncle Danny made it to Grand Junction!!
He is spending a few days with us, while I am still here! He had exciting news... He got a job already! He will be working for the Keystone Conference Center! He will be working evenings and will have plenty of daylight to board all the Vail Resorts~ Breckenridge, Vail, Keystone, Aspen, Snow Mass, North Star at Tahoo... to name a few!! His time card is his season pass to all of them, and other perks include buddy passes, which make his little brother pretty stoked!!
Such cuteness~

We went to Tegan's OFFICE today! West Star Aviation looks as busy as ever. Private jet owners are keeping this place hopping!! Here is the jet Tegan is currently painting. All the blue is paper. The white was painted then the plane is taped off with blue paper in prep for the pin striping! A lot of work goes into painting these jets.
Can you guess which paint locker is Tegans?

In the next hanger we see another jet they are working on.
The plans are taped to the wall... This plane will have red and gray stripes along the side.
It is taped and ready for stripe painting later this afternoon.
We then went into the mechanical hanger and got a look at his finished work!
Not a run in this baby! Tegan does excellent work!

His team also just finished the private jet of the University of Oregon.
Dan tells us his new roommates just graduated for there!

Another fine example of his work!

We walk outside to another hanger and I can't help but marvel at the mountain range that surrounds the valley of Grand Junction Colorado!
My Boys~

West Star specializes in airframe repair and maintenance, engine repair and maintenance, major modifications, avionics installation and repair, interior refurbishment, paint, parts, surplus avionics sales and accessory services.
Tegan could just as easily work in the interior department with his mad skills at the industrial sewing machine he has at home. He is trying to start a new side business redoing auto interiors as well! He calls it SWITCH STITCHES!

Pretty cool, right little Layla!! Layla was just trying to figure out why everyone was dressed like her papa! Ha!
Time to head home!

Bye bye Papa!

When we got home Mommy surprised her girl by coming home for lunch today!
Lucky little girl!
Tonight, Kelley and I are going to see The Help~ so excited!
