Back to School...

It's that time again..Craft College!!  My instructor tells me the things I try are GREAT!!  Who is she kidding?  I try my best,  I feel creative, I work hard at it...but still it never looks the way I hoped it would-whatever it is!!!  I love my instructor, she is patient and kind!!  She always says..."It may not be perfect, but it is made with love"!  You gotta love that!  So I do!!  Won't you join us??  Check it out here....craftcollege.blogspot.com

I'm BACK....

Yes it's true...got my new computer and I am ready to rock and roll, to let the good times roll, to kill two birds with one stone, to ...oh I think you get the idea!!!  Let's see what's been going on since my last visit...Just a cute little family picture...the Waltons.  Donny, Beckie, Sarah, and Molly.  This was taken a few days before Beckie left for Arizona!  Yes... it has come and gone...her really big Marathon.  Beckie ran the whole thing...she did a great job!!

She already has big plans to run another in May!!   It is true that when you run one...you are hooked and you just have to run and run and run....!!!!  I wonder...should I try it???  I am thinking about it...I wonder if I could???

Donny had a BIG BIRTHDAY!!  Oh yes,  he is 30 now!  They had fun celebrating with brownies that Sarah said were just so yummy!!!

And then a few days later...my baby girl Bridget turned 26!!  We watched little Cayden over night so Cyle could take Bridget out to dinner and a movie.  We all had a great time!!

OH YEAH...ABOUT THAT GINGER BREAD HOUSE.....

It finally got built!!!  It was the house that Sarah and Molly built...It was so nice...

Sarah said...."yes, mem, its a nice one alright!'!!

Oh the joys of the computer....

NOT!!! My relic has finally bit the dust. Just will not kick on...Posting from Dave's private computer...I am, however, searching for the right replacement so I can get back into blogging!! Hope to be back up and running soon!!

I left them watching WORD WORLD to check my email and when I returned I found this...Sarah helping Cayden to read! Sarah loves to read and she said Cayden needs to learn too!! She is a bright one, isn't she?? Oh my Kit and Caboodle...I love them all!!

Party Animals!!

Here is Miss Dee and her grandchildren, Morgan, holding Cayden and little Gwen! These girls knew how to party. They settled on the couch in the basement and watched Little Mermaid!!

Here is Miss Sarah Rose and her mommy Beckie...do not be fooled by this picture...this little girl stayed awake for the fun till about 3 am. Her parents paid for that one the next day!!!

Dagmara and Dan...in their own little world!! Young love is so sweet...check out Tim and Melissa and Kevin and Celeste. Awe.... Debbie was near Jim till he decided to blow off some fireworks!! She just ran!!

Dan and Dagmara went off to Florida yesterday...left me with the DOG!! Kayla is a good girl! She likes to help babysit Cayden!

One good lick for good behavior... and a giggle from baby!!

Sunday...

I was just dreading this day...It was just so fun to have Kelley and Tegan here together! We had such a great visit and I really could not be happier for Tegan. He is so changed, so content and settled. We took some engagement pictures and they ordered announcements...watch for yours...Kelley is so excited to plan her wedding for 2010! Possibly June, she says! Tegan just kept saying, every chance he got, "See Mom, didn't I tell you this one is special...isn't she so cute?" He was right! Dave and I really enjoyed every minute! It was sad to see them go this morning. The flights home (3) were easy than the ones on the way here. The made it home to Grand Junction by 8:30 (our time) after starting out at 5 am. Long day for the two of them! I hope Kelley had fun and enjoyed meeting every one who loves Tegan!! Now I look forward to meeting Kelleys' family!

Here we have Team 2, the ONLY team that actually went on a Road Rally! Team 1, along with Dave and I, headed right to the restaurant for some drinks and the Cavs game!! Sneaky!!
Everyone ended up at the BoneYard for dinner!! Our Dagmara was a little late but she made it through the ice storm!! Sadly...she missed this photo opt!


I did snap this lovely picture of her later in the evening!! We all had a really nice dinner then it was time to head home...or so Kelley thought! Tegan took Kelley to this pretty little spot to ask her to marry him!

Kelley and Tegan ... Back home and Celebrating! The ring is beautiful, as is the girl! We knew Tegan would choose someone just like Kelley! She is delightful! Kelley has a sharp sense of humor...perfect for this family...an outgoing personality...and she makes Tegan so HAPPY!!
