Fun with Tegan and Kelley!

We had a great trip to Grand Junction, Colorado.  Wedding plans for Next June 19th are underway!!  We went up to Powderhorn Resort to check it out.  Kelley is so excited with this location!  The shot above is one of Kelley and Tegan standing on the deck in which the ceremony will be held.  You can check it out at www.powderhorn.com

This is a shot of the dinning room where the rehearsal dinner will be held.  It is located in the Wildwood Inn just next to the main lodge where the reception will be held!  (Pictured below: Wildwood Inn)
This inn sleeps about 35...  It features a great room with big screen tv, pool table, etc!  Room are quaint and comfortable.  They come with mini fridge and microwave.  It would be fun to be all together here as a main location for our vacation!  Below are some views of this Inn...

We also looked at one, two and three bedroom condos.  I am showing you pictures of the three bedroom since the two bedroom is exactly the same minus the loft bedroom picture.  Another great option for us!

Happy Birthday to Beckie... May 26th was the day... I am so proud of the woman she is... the Mom she has become.   She makes me laugh and inspires me to run!!  She is the BEST TEACHER EVER, a natural born teacher, everyone loves Mrs. Walton!!  Wasn't the birthday she hoped for since she spent some of it in the emergency room.  I had the girls overnight anyway, thank goodness,  so Don could take her out... oh well, we will just have to do it all over again, won't we??

Ok, so the jig is up... I bring out the camera, which really is never put away, and Sarah looks away, Molly runs!!!  There was a time when they smiled and loved the flash of the camera.  Now I have to make DEALS with them... one shot, only one...of course that never works...so I keep it on continuous shot so I can't snap as many as possible!  Sometimes, THAT DOESN'T WORK EITHER!

Lesjak Memorial Party!

We had a great time at Doug and Sandies home in Wellington!  They have a beautiful yard, with lots of room to run, play softball, frisbee, etc.  The girls had a grand time just running, running and running!!

They played with some cousins that they only see once in a while, MacKenzie and Matthew Lesjak.  Lots of cornhole and beer.  Here's Kevin and Beckie going at it!!!

Its Quiet...

Its a quiet Friday here at Meme's!  Cayden is napping.  Sarah and Molly stayed home with Daddy today.  Cayden had a sleepover last night and was such a good boy.  He goes to bed at 7:30 and sleeps all night long.  Even wearing his special shoes.  I checked on him once and found him on his left side with his right leg and foot completely balanced up in the air!!  How he sleeps with that on is beyond me.  He is so good, he knows when its bedtime when we bring the shoes out!!  This morning he played on the "sit and spin" YaYa found for the girls at a garage sale.  Wow...now sit and spin comes with fun music that plays when you hit the red button so you can really get movin and grovin!! Love IT!

Uncle Dan informs us, that this specimen we found is in fact a bullfrog not a toad!  What in the world were we thinking!!!!

Meme... I "TOAD" you so...

 Sarah had been telling me about a Toad she found at Grandma Walton's house.  She named him Mr. Toad.  She has been talking about how she hasn't seen him in awhile and how she worried he might be lost.  She would look at the picture Grandma took of the toad and wish she could see him again.  Today Sarah and her mommy were walking in the back yard and found Mr. Toads friend!! Yes... a huge toad, one that Sarah is not afraid to touch!! Yuck!  She says..."Go on Meme...touch him, he is soft, not so slimy, go on.  See... not so slimy"!

Molly loves to play in the fountain...

And I believe the girls may have inherited  GG's green thumb!!  They love to water the flowers and tend to the garden!

Talk About Tuesday!

So who ends school at the beginning of the WEEK??  Here is Sarah Rose preparing to leave for her last day at Best Beginnings.  Now she is officially a STARS, TOO!  She is sad that I will not be her teacher in my old room next year BUT...I have assured her Miss Connie and Miss Gloria are the BEST!!

Molly can't get close enough to her cousin Cayden!  She jumped right up onto the table.  HELLO...do we climb on furniture at MeMe's?  Apparently ... WE DO!
I am excited to be taking part in a blog swap with Sweetteadiaries.blogspot.com !  It is for everything summer!!  I am not sure it is summertime yet...weather doesn't seem to want to cooperate with us!  Things I plan to do today so that I feel like it is summer....

                  1. Take cover off pool

                  2. Set out furniture around said pool

                  3. Enjoy the sunshine that we have right now!!
