Tyler...

So on Tuesday, I was teaching my Music In Motion class at Best Beginnings.  It was the pm session, only about 6 kids in this class, two of them being twin brothers Tyler and Carter.  Sarah had decided to stay and sing along too.  She usually does the am class, with about 24 other kids, and then just hangs out in my old classroom to play and will skip the pm class.  Enough is enough for her.  Anyway, on Tuesday, she hears me call Tylers name and she just walks right over to him,  looks him in the eye,  puts her hands on his checks and says..."Tyler, were you just a little baby the other day?"  I start laughing instantly because I realize she has him confused with Yaya's Tyler who is a baby!!  Tyler is confused too...he says..."No I am a big boy"!!  It is funny to see how their minds work.  Sarah asked her question in her sweetest voice, as if she was so proud he grew up so fast!  I just love her little mind and the things that come out of her mouth!  Meanwhile, Tyler just keeps looking at her like she is crazy!!!

Birthday Wishes...

Dave, Molly, Dan, Dagmara, Sarah and Beckie on Dan's birthday.  Beckie and the girls went to Dan's house with a McDonalds breakfast and balloons only to find no one home.  Beckie called Dan and found him at my house so the girls came over with their treasures for Uncle Dan!!

Wow...a DRILL...now Dan will leave Dave's where it belongs!!  Dave was so pleased to have thought of the perfect gift for Dan!  Every home owner needs his own drill, don't you think??

Going to the ZOO!!

Molly is EXCITED about going to the ZOO in Florida.  We can't wait!!  7 days and counting!!

Cayden

Little Cayden is in his cast...no surgery!! NO SWIMMING!! Bummer...but you can bet I will find all kinds of wonderful things to do with this boy in Florida!!

So today I begin.  I want to be Valerie Bertinelli...on the cover of PEOPLE!!  In a bikini!! Ha!! No seriously, I have started the right work out, the right diet, and the right attitude.  Here goes.  I want to look fabulous when I sit down on one of these chairs....  Wish me luck!!!

Just Praying...

Saying some prayers for my little Cayden.  He broke his little leg today and is seeing his ortho surgeon tomorrow.  Pray for this sweet little boy, who already has been through so much.  Pray for his mommy and daddy too...Cayden's leg is in a splint and I doubt they will get much sleep tonight!  

Happy Birthday Danny!

Daniel John - born March 28th 1985 - 8lbs, 30zs  - a blond haired, blue eyed, beautiful baby BOY!!  We could not wait to find out if it was a BOY...Dave had tried to auction off our third girl at a reverse raffle 2 months earlier!!  We wanted a boy so badly.  We had no idea back then, no ultrasounds to tell you the sex of your baby...we waited, and waited.  Dan was about 2 1/2 weeks late.  It was a Thursday night and Dave was ready to head out for his bowling league when I said --Not so fast...the baby is coming...RIGHT NOW!!  Labor started at 9:30 p.m.  Daniel John was born at 10:00 p.m.  It was so fast,  so exciting and we were so surprised to see this little baby boy who looked like he was dipped in flour!  So blond and fair, such white snowy peach fuzz everywhere on his body!  We loved him instantly!  I have never seen Dave so thrilled , so happy, really so very proud!    Dave ran some errands the next day and when he returned to the hospital he had this card and roses.  I just loved his response to the birth of his first son.   Dan has been fun to have around.  From the days of mother/son dances at Avon Oaks, days of crying about going to school (I just want to be home with my mom- he would say!), to grade school baseball, high school-college hockey, and everything in between  I have LOVED this boy.

I cannot wait to see the rest of what is in store for Danny.
