"Wild Things"
We traveled to Port Clinton to visit the WILD THINGS at the Safari Park there! Crazy Fun. The girls had a blast! Cayden... not so much! Check out my pictures.
Sarah, Molly and Beckie watching the Pigs Race! So exciting... they really ran FAST!
Little Miss Molly happy her "PIGGY" won the race!
Molly takes a ride on Blacky... isn't she just such a little peanut?
Holding on really, really tight!!
Sarah showing her horsemanship! She was a natural... waving and talking all the way around the track. Any guesses on her horsey's name?? You got it... Whitey!!
So happy in this picture!
On the wild trail, with our cups of food... ity-bity pellets! The girls would throw them out the window for the little baby deer. While on the trail, the animals come right up to the window to be fed! Some are small, some are huge...
Hello Bison!! Holy crap... did he scare us!! He just stuck his head in for a sniff and then walked along side of the car for a bit!!
The little deer were much more our size! Here, Sarah feeds her new friend a carrot!
Awww... no more carrots!
Yes, look at that hot mess on my windows! When my kids were little and we came here, I swore I would NEVER do that again. The car was an absolute mess ... inside and out! But... here we are again and it was well worth the mess!!
Hello... open this window please!
Some were to big for us to trust... we feed them through the crack in the window!
Lastly... this was pretty much Cayden's reaction. WHAT THE HECK IS THAT???? And then SCREAMING CRYING!! Thanks for inviting me, Sarah... I had a really good time!

Trying something new...
I started another blog 2 days ago... a picture blog. A picture a DAY for a YEAR. Check it out at dianasbigdeal.blogspot.com! I also made my blog into a book. It will be here in a few days... I am so excited. I wrote in the forward that I started blogging as a way to journal the blessings of my grandchildren. It has grown to be so much more for me. I have read other blogs and really found some connection to their authors. Its a little like imaginary friends... ones you know you would really like if only you could meet in person! I ordered the book from The cutest blog on the block and it was really easy to do! There is a section on the left that says... Other Cool Stuff... Blog to Book. I clicked it and answered a few questions and clicked start my book and just like that it had a sample with MY POSTS and MY PICTURES!! I was thrilled! I choose the hardcover and picture, then I was finished! I can't wait to receive it!
AND NOW...
The question today came via a phone call.
"Hello"
AND NOW...

Phone rings
I answer...
"Hello"
"Hi Meme, I have a question for you. We are going to see the animals that come right up to your window and you feed them." Sarah says.
"Oh my," I say, "When are you going there Sarah?"
"Tomorrow, Do you want to come too Meme?", she asks. "Be at my home in the morning, OK?"
"Ok! " I

One Year Ago...

We are off to Clear Lake to celebrate this baby boys' big day! He has changed before our eyes! He amazes us with his disposition, for it has been a tough year for such a little guy. Cayden is a strong little boy... one that will continue to capture our hearts with his smile. Happy Birthday Townsend Cayden!

Cocktail Hour with Meigan!

So, I join a golf league with Meigan, on Wednesday nights... fun right?? Not really. My golfing is not so good... I end up with blisters on my hands (holding the clubs WRONG) and a high score after nine holes BUT... isn't there always a but? Riding in the cart with Meigan is just so much fun. She never covers her drivers so they clang together constantly. I told her it sounds like a cocktail party going on behind us and I keep wanting to look to see what I am missing!! It's no wonder I can't remember how many times I hit the ball or where the frickin ball even went! Oh well...CHEERS... here's to the girls who are at least out there whacking away! Next week I am stopping that drink cart and joining in the party... who knows, it might even help!

Now you see it ... now you don't!
You saw the wall...
Now you don't...
Dave made a beautiful wooden counter top for Dan!

Molly checks out Uncle Dan's new house! The girls LOVE the big basement and they ran around in circles and danced to some Beatles tunes on the turn table!!
Dagmara paints with her "Crimson" color!! It has turned out so warm and cozy!
This is another wall being taken down, one that separates two bedrooms. The plan is to make a larger master suite with the bath attached and a walk in closet! Dave and a few of his buds, (Rick, Bob and Larry) all had a fine time over at the new house. These guys just love a challenge like this, and how lucky for Dan that they do!! Watch for more updates... wait till you see the kitchen color. Dagmara shocks some of us with her choices BUT... she ends up with just the right color!! I love that she is daring and not afraid to try different colors till she finds the perfect one!
