Let's Go To The Zoo... oh baby!

This guy sure lights up my world!! I get out my camera and he yells "CHEESE", and smiles! Then yells, "AHHH" and makes this face... and wants to see the picture!

We decided to go to the Zoo today, since the DINOSAURS exhibit is only at the CLEVELAND ZOO till September 12th. We know how Cayden loves dinosaurs! Last time he went to see them, he was a bit afraid. So we wanted to try one last time, hoping he would enjoy it better!

This time he still clung to Mommy, but he did roar back and really seemed to like them better!

Oh My Goodness... "It's Allidar... where's the monkey?", Cayden asked!

He could not focus on the sharp teeth because one was roaring across the path...

Then we did his next favorite thing... "RIDE, RIDE, RIDE", the dinosaur train!
Cayden... you were such a good boy today at the Zoo!! Attentive and alert, you didn't want to miss a thing, or maybe you were afraid there would be another dinosaur around every corner, I'm not sure which ~ but I know you had a great time!! You even said, "Thank you Meme"! I love you buddy!

Layla Lynn

Kelley and Tegan had some professional pictures taken today to mark this special time in their lives! Steve Ramirez, of Fifth Gear Portrait Designs, went to their home and took some beautiful shots of Kelley's "Baby Bump"! Steve also took their wedding pictures! I am thrilled to see this picture since I am so far from Tegan and Kelley and I haven't seen the changes in Kelley while she's been pregnant!

I am so EXCITED to be a Meme again to this little baby! Oct 19th.... on or around!!

Weekend Projects...

I have been busy with my creative crafter friend Debbie, gosh, I love her!! She is helping me make some name pillows for some sweet little friends...
The girls came over on Saturday and made some crafts too! Molly worked hard on a necklace for me! She is wearing a bracelet I made her and I said "When you are at preschool, you can look at it and think of me!"


She was so proud of the necklace she made... she said,

"When you are at ...um... where Meme?"

Sarah said "WORK, Molly"

Molly said, " Oh yeah, work, then you can think of me, Ok? Meme"

I love it! It's so pretty and it matches the bracelet Sarah made me!

Sarah was busy doing art work!
She is the sweetest thing!! She then made 2 necklaces, one for her and one for Molly. She cut a paper heart in half with BEST FRIENDS written on it! She loves her sister Molly!
Can't wait to finish projects... We are also making something special for Roxi's daughter Missy, who we are having a baby shower for, on the 18th, and something for the newest little Ward baby... so much to do... so little time!

More Sugar and Spice...

And EVERYTHING NICE! We are all loving having Miss Mya in our lives! She is so bright and alert! Aunt BB loves to hold her!
Molly loves to "PET" her...
Papa loves to snuggle her...
She must wonder... ummm, I am one lucky little girl!
At 2 weeks old, she loves to have some tummy time. She actually "scoots" already! Funny, we called her Mommy "scootie" for the same reason!
Just look how strong she is already! Head held high!
Life is good!
In other news... baby Layla Lynn is at 34 weeks and growing. She has been trying to get out early too, like Mya did! Kelley is taking procradia pills and will stop taking them at 36 weeks! Hang in there little Layla! I have shipped gifts from the virtual shower we had for Kelley to their house!! Some fun things will be arriving at their door soon!! I can't wait till I can arrive at their door too!!

Big Chill 2010

We went to Murt's "camp" in PA this past weekend! I also take the girls for a yearly trip to camp! Remember, I blogged about the 5 star accommodations here! This year was just as fun as last year, and the year before that and so on... since 1999! Here is a fun shot of all of us... Dave, me, Jim, Debbie, Roxi, Rick, Kathy and Gary. We love this low key weekend that's full of hiking, floating on the river, crafting, campfires, and lots of laughter!
Craft this year was decorating a clay pot for some PA ferns!

Rick always out does everyone and includes names and the title of BIG CHILL somewhere on his project!

I enjoy watching this guy relax...

and I especially like to see him spend time with this guy...

And I love to see them both do NOTHING!! Not an easy feat, if you know my Dave and his buddy Rick!

Sweet Little Things...

Oh my, oh my... Mya at one week old! This baby is so very sweet and precious! A little mouse! I assign an animal to each of my grandchildren... Sarah: the giraffe, Molly: the elephant, Cayden: the monkey, Mya: the mouse! She is tiny, she is so delicate and petite! But just look at those feet!! She has the longest fingers, just like her mommy! A piano player for sure! Everyone who meets her loves her instantly!

Meigan came by to visit and it seems Mya had things to say!
This little guy loves his new sister! Bridget says he wakes up in the morning and looks all around for her saying... "MYA, ARE YOU?"

My daughter in law Kelley is 33 weeks now! It won't be long before we have her baby, Layla posing with this gift from YaYa Debbie!! Deb is so talented and we love everything she makes for us!! Kelley ... isn't this adorable?
It will find it's way to Grand Junction! My little "ladybug" Layla will be so cozy with this "lovie" blanket!! Layla has been giving her parents some concern... trying to get out a little too early!! Hang in there ~ you still have some growing to do Miss Layla!!
