Mother's Day...

I will start this post by saying our sweet Laylabug is 7 months old!
She continues to delight all who know and love her!!

On Sunday, Mother's Day, Sarah and I went to the theater to see...

We dressed in our Sunday best...
And Sarah even put a little lipstick on too!
She looked super cute! The play was good but we felt bad for the man who played Tony because he could not keep up with the girl who played Maria. Her voice was so wonderful and he had a hard time blending in... it was disappointing. Sarah loved the dresses and the fun dancing!

After the play we met Dave, Danny, Donny, Beckie and Molly at Olive Garden for dinner! Uncle Danny gave Sarah a spin... I am sure she thought she was Maria and Dan, her Tony! She kept singing~"I fell pretty, oh so pretty"!

On Friday the 13th, Beckie took me, Sarah and Molly to Blossom Music Center to see Sugarland! It was my Mother's Day gift! We had lawn seats and luckily the rain held off! Here's Molly, excited to use her binoculars when the show starts!

The girls loved laying on the blanket before the show but once the music started they were up dancing the night away!

SeaWorld, Kristin and her Whales!!

After we left Bonita Springs, we traveled to Orlando! We went to see Kristin and her Whales at SeaWorld! My friend Julie, Kristen's mom, was there too! Julie loved meeting Bridget's babies! Mya loved Julie too!
Cayden had seen videos of Kristin in her show at SeaWorld and watched and hollered to EVERY trainer... "KRISTIN~ KRISTIN!"
"Hi Kristin" Never mind there were killer whales swimming in the pool~ Cayden only cared about Kristin!
He was so happy to be there!
The show was fabulous! It is called ONE WORLD.

We had great seats! Julie knows the ins and the outs and showed us where the best view would be!

We haven't seen Kristin since high school graduation so it was so very nice to reconnect! Bridget and Kristin...

I still see the photo of them in kindergarten standing together in front of Julie's house!

Kristin opened the gate and waved us in... what a thrill for Cayden and all of us!!

She called the "babies" over to say hi to Cayden!

She signaled for him to SMILE at Cayden!

She signaled for him to stick his tongue out!!

She showed Cayden how she signals and whistles "good job" to her whales!

She did have treats ready for a job well done!

Kristin is very dedicated to her job at SeaWorld~ I am so very proud of her!

Sarah seemed a little more unsure of it but once she saw her sister do it....

She did it too! Great job Sarah... I told you the faster you pedal, the easier it is!

Wishbone Day 2011

Friday, May 6th was Wishbone Day! Bridget and I were in South Carolina at the Comfort Inn, our stop on our travels home from Florida! Woo Hoo!
Friday morning we woke and Cayden put on the shirt his mommy made for him!
The back says... "I have an Unbreakable Spirit" And he does!

Mommy and Mya look cute too in their Wishbone shirts or as Cayden calls them... "BROKEN BONES SHIRT"!!

A very happy boy at breakfast! He says hello to everyone! He made friends with many on our travels! Maybel, the waitress, loved him so very much! She asked us about the shirts and then went to search for something YELLOW to pin to her uniform!

So many friends commented on Facebook(Chris, Mel, Roxi, Meigan, Katy) and my blog (Gina, Sheila, Keetha, Chrissy,Tanner, Becky, and Bridget) that they too, were wearing something YELLOW for Cayden!

We wanted to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you who took the time to think about Cayden that day! We love you all!

On the road again!

When we drive to Florida, we usually take I-75 all the way. This year, Dave advised Beckie and I to take I-77 instead because of the pretty serious storms down 75. We heeded his advice. and it was a good thing! This route takes us thru Orlando... you know, the home of DISNEY WORLD and SEAWORLD! The girls were excited to see the Mickey Ears but sad to know we were not stopping to visit the clubhouse! Beckie has decided to travel that route again next year and STOP for a few days at DISNEY~ the girls will be a perfect age!!

Meanwhile, I immediately thought of my friend Julie, who was a neighbor of mine and mom to Bridget's childhood best friend, Kristin! Kristin and Bridget did EVERYTHING together from age 2 to about 5 or 6~ they were so cute together! Then Julie and Al moved away ~ it was so sad!

Anyway... Kristin is a trainer at SeaWorld! Julie shared some pictures with me and I just knew I would be stopping to see her show on the way home! Bridget, Cayden and Mya are driving home with me so it was a great idea to stop and see Kristin! We contacted her and arranged to visit SeaWorld ~ we sent this picture to tell her we were excited to see her at her fun job!

We left the Florida house at noon today and drove the 4 hours to Orlando. We checked into the hotel and Miss Mya was happy to play on the bed! Sarah and Molly... remember how we always jump on hotel beds...shh~ well, Mya loves to do it too!

We are off to bed now... Cayden keeps looking at the pictures on the computer of Kristin with "Her whale" and he is so very excited to meet them both!

He keeps asking "where is Kristin?'

I am so excited that Kristin said her mom has decided to make an impromptu visit to Orlando as well... It will be so good to see her! I am so thrilled!
Julie is so very proud of Kristin and I am happy we can stop and see her in action! I will surely take my camera!!
