Cayden and his Daddy...

Cayden comes from a long line of hunters.  I trust his Daddy will teach him all he needs to know to be safe while he learns about hunting.

Cyle and Cayden have been" hunting" in the backyard already.   For squirrel.   Cayden has learned all the calls and sits quietly and still.  

Bridget sent this picture to me.  Cayden DID NOT hunt with Daddy but he did get to pose with him!

I, myself, would never hunt, but I do understand the tradition of the sport.  I know that it will bond these too in amazing ways.  Cyle is a great Daddy and gamesman.

Kristen is Layla's sitter and is just so sweet and kind!  Kelley and Tegan are so lucky to have found someone so special to care for Layla while they work!  Kristen has a little boy named Elijah, who is 2 1/2 and a 3 month old new daughter named Emily!  Layla loves Miss Kristen so much!  Layla is looking up at all the balloons!!

How I wish all my gems could be together on all their birthdays!! I think I need to plan one big party in Florida to celebrate Sarah, Molly, Cayden, Mya and Layla's Birthdays! How fun would that be? Girls start planning!!

News in Grand Junction this week....  Hot off the wire!   Layla Lynn has turned ONE YEAR OLD.   October 12th is a big day around here!  Layla spent her day going to play at daycare with Miss Kristin~ she took confetti cupcakes and shared with all her little friends!  Dramma and her Mommy Kelley picked her up at noon and took the sweet girl out to lunch!

It was ME!   Really... it was so hard to keep a secret but I did!  How could Kelley actually believe I would not fly in for her first birthday?  Well, truly, I think she knew I would not miss it!!

Big party on Saturday, we can hardly wait!   Aunt Tammi is making the Ladybug cake and we have all kinds of decorations like the goody bag tags at the top of this post!   So fun!

Gramma Roxi and Papa Rick celebrated in New Jersey and I hear Levi is having a big party this weekend too!!  Party on Levi!!

More big news... My friend Marlene had her first grandchild, Olivia on, yes, you guessed it... OCTOBER 12th!
