Before each of my little gems were born, I assigned them an animal. Something for them to collect. Something different from their siblings or cousins. Something that would have special meaning as they each grew! Today Sarah had a two hour delay of school because of the weather. She spent the time drawing...

I am so glad I had this idea 5 years ago when Sarah was about to be born. It has been fun to see each of them identify with their special friends too!
