Saturday... cloudy - 67 in Florida... what the hell? Shopping all day! Off to the Flea Market. We cannot miss the flea market each and every year... you never know what you might find!! We saw tee shirts custom designed for us....

Patty found earrings... for that special occasion!
Roxi wondered.... Do these look too BIG on me? She gave us her best Elvis impersonation while wearing the white ones!!
We had lunch at Dolly's, where homemade pies are a speciality!! How's that gonna fit into our Skinny Bitch regimen, I ask you????
Just look at the love that went into this pie... three little hearts cut into the crust. Reminded me of three little some ones I left back home in Ohio!! Meme misses her gems. This cherry pie looks heavenly... of course we are only going to look at it, not eat it!!
More shopping at Miromar Outlet Mall!! We needed some BLING!

Ride the Wonder Wheel...

Last Saturday, Dave and I took Sarah, Molly, Bridget and Cayden to the Home & Garden show at the expo center. They have a huge ferris wheel that travels around, up and right out of the building thru a glass enclosure!! So fun to ride! We sang Cherl Crow's song "Wonder Wheel", ok, maybe just I sang Wonder Wheel...

Cayden had some fun sliding in the playground set up! The girls loved climbing all over them too!

Bridget and I ended up sitting and eating ice cream while Papa traveled the aisles, checking out decking, pool liners and such.
You scream, I scream, We all scream for Ice Cream! We were all pretty worn out after this excursion! I am in FLORIDA!! The Desperate Housewives have landed!

Townsend Cayden

My sweet little Cayden broke 2 bones in his foot today .... under my watch. I feel so sad about it, although, I know, there was nothing I could have done to prevent it. He was not climbing stairs, or furniture, no, he simply was walking and fell since he is still "wobbly" at it.
He came home from the drs. ready to smile for me still. He is just the most precious little guy to me, I could not love him more.
His Papa loves him lots too!
Pray for quick healing so this little man can get to walking around again! His Mama's thoughts here.

Desperate Housewives of Bay Cedar

Here we go again... Roxi and I are once again hosting the "Desperate Housewives of Bay Cedar"!! Dee, Patty, Debbie, Marlene, Meigan, and Janice will be joining us again on Bay Cedar for another fun filled week of ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT A GOOD TIME! We will eat out, see movies, lay in the sun near the pool, read, rest, laugh, drink, laugh some more and we will do a little shopping too! Jeanette will not be with us this year and we are all so sad about that... we will miss her impressions and her quick sense of humor which always keeps us in stitches!! Hopefully, she will be back in the fold next February!

We have been going together since 2005- the original group being- Patty, Jeanette, Roxi, Me, Dee, and Debbie... back when we all looked like this...
Marlene and Meigan joined in the next year and they're sticking with us! Roxi is already in Florida since she resides there over the winter months! She misses the plane ride down, which is half the fun... just ask Peppermint Patty!
Just so you don't think the women have all the fun... Rick and Dave also host the men, who apparently enjoy cooking at home when they are all together...
Who the hell knew?
They are a funny bunch for sure! It's so great that we have the two houses -- to host so much togetherness!!

For Rhiannon...

One of my blogging friends daughter has started pressing flowers and wonder if any one had ideas what to make with the flowers fresh out of her press! Here's one idea....

Hi Rhiannon... Lynn made me this pretty little heart with a cream colored flower that almost looks like lace!! I can't wait to see what ideas you come up with yourself!

Work for me, is missing my son, Tegan.

Who on a cold January morning 2 years ago, packed up his things and said goodbye to his little pup Bella.

and hit the road for Grand Junction, Colorado to start WORK here...

Came home in the spring to load up all his belongings and his little car...
Said goodbyes again to his family who adores him!
Went to work, met a girl, fell in love... her name is Kelley...
and they are WORKING on their wedding... along with some other exciting things!

Work has taken him from home but not our hearts or our thoughts. We love our visits, here or there, and we can't wait for JUNE 19th!
