Enough Already!

So much going on at Meme"s! Beckie had her first Premier Jewelry Party at my house on Thursday night~ Thank You to all my friends who came to help get her started in this new business venture! You know I love you all! It was a fabulous party!

The cousins were so happy to see each other and to be having a sleepover all together... even Beckie! Sarah holds Mya instantly and Molly, the little fashionista, is busy looking at Mya "cute little shoes!"

After the party, Sarah decided to design her own line of jewelry, starting with earings!
Oh my...
Ta~Da!

The next day, Beckie subbed at St Ignatius so the girls stayed and even planned another sleepover! Two in a row! Mommy too. Bridget and Cyle went home to Van Wert for Cyle's birthday and to do some work on the house! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CYLE!

Cayden was the first to spot the snow coming down and yelled for everyone to look...

"CHRISTMAS", he yelled!

and the rest of the deck! Tegan saw this picture and is jealous of our snow here in Ohio. Not much snow in Grand Junction Colorado! He recalled days of making a snow ramp off this section that he would snow board off and down around the trees, following the fence line you see in the distance in this picture! I miss those days too Tegan James!

ENOUGH ALREADY ... we all yelled at the snow!

Inside we stayed warm by the fire! It fascinated Mya Brynn, but Cayden was sure to tell her that is " so very HOT!"

"Don't you touch it my Mya, my sister."
We took cozy, warm naps together!

In the morning we had a yummy warm breakfast!

Missing from it all... Dave! He is still enjoying time in Florida with his buddies! Big Superbowl trip, he will be back on Tuesday!

How I wish I could snuggle and play the day away with this gem of mine!
Thank goodness Kelley's mom lives there and is a constant in this gems life! Deanna, thanks so much for all you do for our sweet little grand daughter!

Dave sent me these beautiful flowers because I have broken a big weight barrier ~ Woo Hoo for me!! Thanks Dave for encouraging me so sweetly along the way!

A Game for Layla!

Cayden and Mya wanted to play a game with Layla in Colorado...

let her concentrate for a minute,

Cayden has mad skills too, when it comes to his breathing treatments...
He does them all by himself!
These two are feeling a lot better since the last time I blogged about them! I have been busy having sleepovers with my Gems while Dave is away~ some good Meme bonding time before I am off to Florida myself!

Barbie and Ken!

Weather here has been harsh today! No school, lots of snow and cold temperatures! I put Barbie and Ken outside on the table to show Dave how much snow we have this morning!

My message read:

HELP! Barbie and Ken are stuck in a snowstorm!

Dave sent this picture back to me... Florida, our backyard and pool.
His message said...

No Barbie or Ken here!

I said I could jump on a plane and be the Barbie at his pool! I can't really share what his response was to that...

Just not sure his golfing buddies would appreciate the invasion! Have fun boys!

'Oh what a week', that led to "Oh what a weekend!"

Wednesday at my house... their was a lot of coughing going on. Cayden had been to the Dr. on Tuesday... diagnosis: Croup.
Poor little guy.

Bridget decided on Thursday to take him back to the doctors. She did not like how shallow he was breathing. From there, the doctor sent them to the hospital. After he was admitted, I ran Bridget a few things she would need for an overnight stay. Breathing treatments began~ he did not much care for this...
Even when his mommy and I sang Pirate Ship for him... he cried louder for us to stop!

While at the hospital, they discovered he had RSV. He was one miserable little guy. Bridget had an awful night with Cayden just crying and crying. On Friday the doctor discharged him into Bridgets' care for home breathing treatments. On Saturday, Meme surprised him with a little train and tracks just like the ones at Meigs and at the hospital. Saturday afternoon found a happy Cayden~

Here is the two handed fist pump... the one where you say "OH YEAH!" Cayden loved the train set~

He laid and played trains between breathing treatments all afternoon.
He looks better but not really. Saturday night the fever was back and he spent another night crying and burning up. Now she is wondering if he has an ear infection since he keeps saying they hurt. I am praying that Bridget gets some sleep tonight!

Fun at Meme's School!

Cayden enjoyed a day at Meme's preschool!

Happy Birthday Bridget! I love you more than words can say! I am so very proud of you and the person who have grown to be... the daughter, the wife and especially the mom that you are!!

I want to thank you for bringing this little man...
and this sweet little girl...
and even this guy, who is a great husband and daddy, into my life!

Your little family is wonderful! It is fun to watch your story unfold... and I am always wishing for good things to continue to happen in your life!
