After spending time in Venedocia with Bridget, Cyle, Cayden and Mya, I realized that I may have seriously been the one she reacted to~ by crying EVERY TIME I put her down to play. At home, she is a completely different little gem. She plays and talks and giggles and hollers~ I loved seeing this side of her! Isn't she adorable?

Speaking of ADORABLE~

Bridget told Cayden he would have a surprise at home if he was a good boy at a work party they went to yesterday afternoon. He was a good boy. He wanted to know where his surprise was when he got home. I was his surprise. His face answering the door was priceless and the hug I got from this little man melted my heart. I walked in and squatted down to be engulfed into his embrace! He was so happy to see me. We had another great sleepover together and I got to spend the day with them today while Bridget worked. Doesn't he look cozy at nap time? Be still my heart.

Country Boy

Cayden sure is becoming a country boy! He showed me his bunny. He showed me the barn. He showed me the "big, big, tractor. Then he heard his Daddy calling him~

"Gotta do chores Mem", he tells me! Cyle and Cayden water the pumpkins.

Then walk all the way back to the house to give Rudy, the bunny some water too!
This is a heavy bucket!
Rudy is sure thirsty!
Cayden is a good listener...
Daddy says time to water the tomato plants too.
Cayden watches everything his Daddy does and then wants to do it too!

"Cayden is a good helper, right?", he says. We say... "Say... I am a good helper, right?" Cayden doesn't get it!! He just smiles at us like we are nuts!

Daddy says to find some worms and Cayden knows right where to look!
"Got em"
Daddy shows Cayden to throw them in the dirt by the plants. Who knew?

I love taking them for wagon rides around the yard!

Both seem to really, really like it...
That is until I stop! Mya wants more!
She is a lucky girl to have a BIG BROTHER to look out for her!

Cyle asked if I saw a difference in Cayden's strength, since he has been living in the country, since he was walking more, and since he had been spending alot of time outdoors running around?

My answer... Yes! Cayden is one busy little country boy!

A~Fair To Remember!

This past weekend, I traveled to Venedocia to visit my Bridget and her little family! Van Wert was having their Peony Festival and we ventured off on Friday night to ride some carnival rides they had set up!

Bridget and Cayden jumped right on this ride... Little did they know, it was never ending. It went around and around and around, with no end in site!

Cayden was so happy to spy his friends, Hadley and Gweny, with their mommy, daddy, grandma and grandpa!

Once on the ride, Hadley had things to tell Cayden.
She had a lot of things to say! Cayden hollered to Mommy...."Hadley is talking to me"!
Apparently, she had some funny things to say!
They made me think of the song... Kiss the Girl. You know me, I had to sing it! Both blushed a bit! "go on, you know, you want to kiss the girl"
Then they both got silly...

What glorious fun!

Cayden decided then to take my advice and ...
he started to go for it...
it wasn't easy...
But... he landed that kiss anyway!

I spent a few days with Mya and Cayden in Venedocia! We painted Cayden's room and tonight Cyle put up his name letters! Cayden has new bedding...camo, so Cyle painted the letters camo style too! I love it and so does Cayden!

Layla said Mama today and Kelley was so thrilled! Can you remember the first time you heard someone call you Mama? Like Beckie said....
