Cayden and Kayla. Boy and Pit Bull. Scary? Nuh...
Kayla is the smartest, most well behaved dog I have ever seen. She belongs to Danny. She is staying with us ~ Danny is living here a bit before heading out to Colorado.

Cayden tells Kayla, "come with me Kayla"
"You are a good girl. Want to come with me?"
"Come on, this way Kayla"
"Kayla.... are you listening?"
"Come on"
"Come on Kayla."

"Kayla..."

Cayden gives up. Kayla doesn't listen.
But, really, she is the BEST DOG EVER!

Happy to be home again!

We are back home from our Road Rash 2011 trip and we are so glad to see our little gems! I have many things to post about~ Here's just a preview!

The kids played down by the creek and Sarah found herself a frog or two! She proudly wore her Adopt-A-Lion Hat from the Grand Canyon that Meme and Papa got her!

We also had a family pool party the night before Bridget, Cyle and Cayden set off for his yearly appointment at Shriners Hospital in Montreal, Canada. Everyone was happy to this guy!

Molly cried when she saw me come walking toward her~ she hugged me so tight and just cried in my ear! Happy tears that her Meme was home again!

We kept Mya with us while her family went to Canada. She was sad without her Mommy. We took pictures anyway!! She was only content in my arms... like she thought "I lost one mommy so I am not letting this Meme out of my sight!"

To the men in my life...

Tegan~ His little Laylabug calls him "Papa" instead of Daddy. This leaves Dave to be "Pop-ay" to Layla!! Tegan is a hands on father. This baby loves him more than words can say! She giggles the minute she sees him! Happy Anniversary to Tegan and Kelley! We wish you many, many, many more!

Townsend Cyle~ He is Townsend Cayden and Mya's "Daddy". Cayden adores him and is learning so much from his Daddy. Mya loves hearing her Daddy voice when he comes into the room and her face just lights up!

Donny~ Sarah and Molly call him "Daddy". Donny is a hand on Dad and the girls love to spend time with him! Molly is most like her Daddy, having learned his sense of humor and is running with it herself! Funny girl! Donny has a fun little tomboy in Sarah Rose, who loves all things outdoors and is becoming quite the little t-ball player while being coached by her Daddy!

Tomorrow is a big, big day! Tegan and Kelley will be married ONE YEAR and Tegan will celebrate his very first fathers day! Layla is a lucky little girl!

Wood Working...

Danny has been busy. In the wood shop.

He worked really hard...
He has faith in me.

Enough faith to grow some vegetables and herbs.

Dave does not have any faith in me, when it comes to growing anything.

I tend to side with Dave.

It looks so nice on my deck... so BIG!!

We planted strawberries, peppers, cucumbers, basil, oregano, tomatoes, and radishes, to name a few!
It's a good thing Danny is living with us for a few months before he heads out to Colorado... These things might actually have a chance of survival!! Keep your fingers crossed!
