            Happy Birthday to Meme!  Another memory...

My Birthday...May 7th

This year the day started out GREAT!!  Dave gave me the gift of jewelry in the morning before he left for the office.  So sweet...wasn't expecting anything!  The girls came, bringing home made cards of love for their MeMe!  Loved that!  Phone calls and texts came... Tegan's said..."Happy Birthday, oh, Mother of Mine!"  Kelley's echoed ...Mom#2!  Dagnara and Danny wished a happy day.  Cayden and Bridget came in... another homemade card... hand print and all!  How full is my life!?!  Friends sent facebook comments and all was good till....

Dave came in the house at about 11:30 saying take me to the hospital.   Chest pains, shortness of breath, dizzy.  SCARY .  So the day was spent at Fairview Hospital.  Admitted.  Heart cath done.  Meigan and Danny sitting with me, waiting.  We laugh now... Found out Dave has a HEART!! Found out Dave has a GOOD HEART!  Of course, I always knew this!!  So now the questions continue.  More tests.  He has not felt well for about 4 months now.  Tightness, trouble breathing, cough, and the list goes on.  Been to a lung specialist since his dr. thought it might be asthma.  Ruled out!  Let's get a stress test... Thursday visit to hospital... Ruled out heart trouble. Thank God.  So more tests.  

Got home from the hospital about 7:30, leaving Dave to rest and watch the CAVS on tv.  Kids were here waiting to take me out to dinner for my birthday.  Dinner ... home to a HUGE ice cream cake and love!  Pictures to come!  Thanks to everyone who made the day so special!  I love you all!

I have a New Grandbaby!!

His name is BO!  He is a 1 year old beagle that Tegan and Kelley rescued from a shelter.  Bo's previous owner "could not contain him"!!  Tegan laughed and said "Yeah, thats right...beagles run.  It's just what they do!!"  Tegan says Bo is so happy everyday when he gets home from work- so glad to be with someone who loves him so much!  Our Bella Bo's dad's name was Dusty Bo so Tegan chose the name Bo in honor of Bella.  He also says Bo does many things that remind him of Bella.   I know Bo is one LUCKY DOG...  Tegan and Kelley will take good care of him!

Backyard Revival!!

So, we started with this landscape... just some flower beds with a rock walkway.  We hang a hammock between the left tree and the threesome set of trees.  The back of the land slopes down to the water basin below to the right.  Then...

with some strong men... Dave, Dan, Cyle, and Donny (not pictured) :-(, the work began.  Digging out stumps, hauling pavers, shoveling rock, etc!
Even Bob got into the action.  Hey...What is Dave doing in this picture??  Anyway...
Things start to take shape.  Beds are outlined ... fire pit spot is chosen....
Plants and fountain purchased!  Ready to finish up!



I just love it!  So relaxing hearing this fountain.  We will finish up soon and I will share the rest of the pictures!!  Thanks to my husband, my son, my son-in-laws, and Bob!!

Jack K. Clancy - United States Marine

My nephew Jack Clancy was sworn in on Saturday.  His mom Frankie has some mixed emotions but is very proud of her son Jack.  We all are very proud too!
