Dan's Big Move!

Dan and Kayla hit the road on Saturday by 8:30 am. He arrived in Breckinridge, Colorado on Sunday evening! I am glad I was here in Grand Junction and didn't have to see him drive away.

Here is his new backyard. Spectacular... wouldn't you say? He says he is "living his dream". I wish him all the luck in the world.
He had his things shipped out and they will arrive Tuesday am. Then he plans a trip to Grand Junction to stay with me for a few days at Tegan and Kelley's house.

How hard will it be to get on a plane Sunday morning.

Big News from home!

The big news from home is this...

Sarah Rose lost her FIRST TOOTH! Beckie had to pull over on the highway to assist Sarah, who's tooth started bleeding in the car!
I heard the lovely toothfairy left her $5 dollars for that beauty!! You look so cute Sarah!!

Beckie and the girls headed out to Clear Lake, Indiana to spend some time with Bridget at their lake house!! What fun for Cayden ~ getting to spend the weekend with his favorite girls! *Pictures compliment of Beckie cell phone*

Sunshine on a rainy day!

Wednesday started off sunny and beautiful~

Someone was happy to be going for a walk around the neighborhood! Clapping~
The day took a turn and a storm came in and we just snuggled and played inside on the floor all afternoon! A kiss here...
She thinks I am crazy... just like Sarah Rose does!!
When Mommy and Daddy got home we got ready to go to Tegan's softball game. REALLY? We didn't believe him when he called and said the rain moved through and they were going to play. It was his last game of the season and if they won, next season they would get to play for FREE! Dramma came over and we took off for the field. Just look at the sky.. and the empty stands!

We see they are losing by about 7 runs in the 2nd inning when we arrive. Dramma says, "No worries, this is how Tegan's team rolls. They will come from behind and win, you'll see!"

Sure enough that is just what they did~

Tegan came up to bat and his girls were right there to cheer him on!

Great Day in Grand Junction!

Love like an ocean...

I've got love like an ocean in my soul.
I am learning her every like.
I am learning her every worry.
I am learning her every joy.
She is not complicated...
She is easy to please.
She is easily entertained.
She knows I am her Meme.
Who loves her so much.
She loves me back.
Being far from each other won't matter. I am leaving my mark on her. She will remember me by the things I have taught her! She might even say ME ME before I go. She has the mmmmm part down!

Yesterday, on Tegan's birthday, we went to Kelley's Mom's house to visit and see Great Grandma Milly and Great Grandpa Skip! Deanna's parents are just so sweet! It was so nice to see them again!

She studied him for a bit then felt comfortable in his gentle hands!

Great Grandma Milly had nothing but smiles for her sweet Layla Lynn!
They travel about 2 hours to come into town for doctors appointments. They leave up on the mountain in a beautiful area. I have seen only pictures of their home but I would love to visit one day!

Kelley was anxious to get Tegan home to open his birthday present from her and Laylabug!
