Playing catch up...
Here at Camp Bonita, as the locals like to call it, the living is easy.
We spend time catching up with old friends,
we share stories,
we read and relax
and there was plenty of laughter and smiles!
Treasures found at the Best Of Everything...
We even made some new friends!
This is Dolly.
She owns Dolly's~ the home of the best pies you have ever eaten!
She is quite the star...
A ball room dancer, who at 78 has won many big tittles!
A little doll!
We gathered to shop together!
Check out the jackets and pants...
It got a little chilly here!
The weather took a turn and the temperature dropped~
Mary Annis got busy baking some of the best cookies
I have ever eaten!
Yum!
Meigan and Laura made some salsa together...
The sun was still shinning brightly so
we sat out anyway...
We just keep our warm clothes on!
I had a fun few days with these girls!
Thanks for the fun Roxi, Meig, Mary Annis, and Laura!
My sister Frankie came into town with her co workers for the weekend
and then her friend Jodi drove her here for a day!
She is crazy...
But, I love her!
It is so fun to spend time with girls.
Don't you thinks so too?

OH YEAH ~
Listen to Mya say, CRAWL, CRAWL, CRAWL!
Cayden is pretty proud too~
saying "OH YEAH, OH YEAH" at the end of video!
Mya was diagnosed with a fear of movement but after a couple
weeks of therapy, her Momma working non stop with her,
her Daddy playing with her, and her big brother
cheering her on, she is
CRAWLING!
We are all so happy!
Hugs and Kisses to my little Miss Mya!

Mah Jongg, any one?
My friend Donna, here in Florida, offered to teach me how to play REAL
Mahjongg.
I have played on the computer for years.
Never knew what the symbols on the tiles were called.
I took these pictures of Sandy's Mahjongg set, which was beautiful.
The little tile bag was hand sewn by one of her friends.
Sandy's set is black with vibrant colors on them!
I learned there is an "official playing chart"
showing all hands possible.
So confusing at first, but Roxi and I just sat and watched a few games.
I felt like I was beginning to understand it.
Donna had to leave and I took her seat, which must have been lucky
and I started to play my first game with Barb, Sandy and Kathy.
Roxi sat near me and nodded whenever I pointed out that I thought
I might "have" something!
After about 10 minutes into the game,
I asked if I could say
"MAH JONGG"
Sandy said "If you think you have it, go ahead...
Everyone, including me, was surprised that I really did have
MAH JONGG!!
My very first game EVER
and I win in record time...
so they told me!!
I loved this game! Thanks to Donna, Sandy, Barb and Kathy
for teaching me the game~ I know I have some more to learn
but I really do think I "get" it!
I had to leave to get ready for my guests who were arriving Wednesday at 5~
I look forward to next week!
At the airport, I found Laura, in her pretty red scarf, making her way here from Oklahoma!
And not far behind her, Mary Annis and Meigan, from Cleveland!
The girls loved that the Paparazzi greeted them!
We headed straight to Coconut Jacks and of course I
wanted a picture of them in the BIG BLUE CHAIR!
Aren't they the cutest?
Cheers to some fun girl time!
For Dave...
Look how great the patio looks!
It is so great honey~ Thanks for the cozy place to hang with friends and family!
You're the BEST!

So WHAT?
Sew this...
I asked Deb to sew a window seat cushion for me.
I asked if she could do it before Tuesday, when I leave for Florida.
"Just a simple slip cover to go over chaise lounge cushion"
I said, "Deb, what good is it to have a friend who sews so well
if I can't ask her to sew for me?'
Debbie laughed!
Deb said "come on over on Friday"
So, I did
and
SEW, I did!
That's right people, I did it myself...
with a little help from Deb!
Just wait till I show you...
