Bike Club!

Sarah held her first BIKE CLUB meeting today!

Molly put on her "biking shoes"!

Our bikes were ready to go...

We played with Sofie, the bunny, while we

waited for Mason and Julia to arrive!

Molly tried to do a cartwheel like her sister Sarah!

Almost!

Meme took Sofie for a ride in her bike

basket~ not too sure she liked it!

The girls gave her some grass to eat!

All happy now!

The CLUB is assembled.

Meme, Molly, Mommy, Julia and Mason~

I asked, "Who will win?"

Sarah responded, "Meme, there are no winners.  Everyone gets their own

time.  It's about the GOAL not winning."

Sarah's Daddy sat on the front porch to keep track of "times 

around the track and time"~

Ummm.... It must of been 5 o'clock somewhere!

And they are off... 

Mason pulls ahead right away~ BOYS!!

Around the house, up the drive way, then around the garage

and around the front of the house again...

That's 1...

 12 times around the course gets you a mile!

WHAT?

Sarah whips right around... she has been practicing!!

Molly worked the hardest... pumping those little legs so fast.

The course was hard and BUMPY!

At the finish Beckie sure looked HAPPY!

Meme is HAPPY to be done too!

Sarah has us get our notebooks and pens out now.

She tells us to write...

Mason had the BEST TIME

We all recorded our time~

Sarah then told us to write down our 

"NEW GOAL for the next meeting...

How much did we think we could improve?"

She says "It's going to be 1 & 1/2 miles next time"

Molly sure was worn out...

But she still managed to have the neatest printing EVER

in her little notebook!

Mason got to carry the flag around for a victory lap!

He was Happy and Proud!

We CHEERED AND CLAPPED for him!

We ended our meeting with a 

YAY~ BIKE CLUB!

And...

maybe there was some porch dancing too!

How's it going at school~

I had a chat with Molly yesterday before school

and I asked her what her favorite thing about

kindergarten was...

She said "riding the bus!"

I love this girl!

Cayden is so excited everyday,

asking Mommy, "Is tomorrow the day I go to school?"

He is delighting all his teachers and aides~ he is Mr. Personality!

On the last two school days, Mommy and Daddy have had to get on the 

bus and WAKE him up to get off the bus!

Sarah says school is "Great"...

But she was more interested in telling me she has

started a "Bike Club"

" We will ride our bikes one mile, that's 20 times around my garage

Meme, we will do it in 5 minutes and we all will

have notebooks and pencils to keep track of our times!"

Don't you just love her?  She listed all the friends she is

inviting, including her sister "of course" and told

me the first day will be this Saturday!

What a fun CLUB to be a part of!

their sweet baby girl!  Kelley is "borrowing" this idea from

Beckie~ and it's a good one!

Cayden's Big Day!

Someone got on the bus today...

We hope his teachers take good care of him!

Bridget said he was so excited to go~ he jumped on the bus

and said,

 'bye-bye!  I will miss you Mommy and Mya!"

Bri tells me when she got home Mya sat at the counter to color

but kept looking at the front window.  Every time she a car would come she

would get all excited and say

"Here Cayden comes"

Of course I say... Video it for me.  But Mya hates the phone camera. 

Just watch her...

I love her little voice saying

"I don't know"

and 

"Quack, Quack, Quack!"

 

Once she knows the phone is on... game over.

So many changes...

Here's Cayden...

He is ready to go meet his teacher, Miss Rachel.

He starts school on Thursday~ he will be going 3 days a week.

Full days. He will ride a bus.

He is so excited.

Mommy is feeling nervous and worried ~ she realizes she won't 

be there to watch him and keep him safe from fractures.

I can understand her and Cyle's concerns for their little man who has

been fracture free for almost 2 years!  I reminded Bridget about

how incredibly smart this guy is... and we are all hoping 

he will remember to be careful all the while he runs and plays with

his new friends!  Broken bones do heal~ should they happen, but

we are all praying for a fracture free school year!

Someone else is feeling a little worried too...

Beckie put her baby girl Molly on the school bus to

Kindergarten today!

She gave Molly all she needs for her first day too!

Molly is READY~

Sarah was ready yesterday

and had her first day already but was

happy to pose again this morning!

Big milestone for Beckie here today~

My friends and I used to have bloody marys on the tree lawn when our last

ones were off to kindergarten!!

Beckie reminds her about her heart...

Here comes the bus!

No sign of tears from Molly as her sister

takes her to the bus!

Not the case for Beckie though~

but her friends are whisking her off to Cedar Point

for the day to keep her mind off the fact her last one just 

went off to school.  Wahoo!

My Kelley also started school!  Back to college for her!

Online classes so she can be home with her sweet Laylabug!
