The New Rules!

So, remember Camp Meme & Papa's? Molly came to stay ~ Sarah had to stay home because she is in Kindergarten now. Sarah likes to write the rules of the house down on paper. She usually post them on the kitchen door for all to see. We get a kick out of her rules since they are always directed towards Molly!

When Molly came home from Camp, she was greeted with this note...
"We missed you Molly!!!!!! The rules for now are going to be:

You cannot go to Memes house without me love Sarah"

Well, I guess she told her!

One day at school during free time, Sarah traced her hand and wrote the name of her favorite purple nail polish! She amazes me that she remembers the names and spells things out as best as she can!!

She even got an extra red star for this sentence...

Do not get that Tyrannosaurus Rex!! Pretty close on the spelling here!
Sarah Rose... Keep up the good work in school! You make your Meme and Papa so very proud! We love you!

In other news... Here's is a great picture of Missy's little LOVE~ Levi! Roxi enjoyed Christmas with her family and this little guy in beautiful Florida! How adorable is he?

Tegan drove to Beavercreek to meet up with his good friend Mike and his wife Katie! They vacation with Mike's parents, Natalie and John, every year in Colorado and Tegan spent a couple of days boarding and enjoying each others company!

Danny and Tegan did spend some time together on the slopes on Saturday, then Tegan headed home to Kelley and Layla! Dan will make his way from Breckenridge on Wednesday to Grand Junction to stay till Sunday with Tegan! I can't wait to hear what he thinks of his brothers sweet baby girl!

Colorado~

Danny is in Colorado. A snowboarding trip to see some old school friends, Jay, & Correy and his brother Tegan! Dan is staying with Jay a few days then taking the train to Grand Junction to stay with Kelley, Tegan and Layla! I am so, so, so, jealous!

This was sent to my cell phone... message read~ Vail. On my way to meet up with Tegan. Tegan is lucky enough to be visiting his old school buddy, Mike and his family, who are vacationing at Beavercreek. Thanks to John and Natalie, who are always so welcoming to Tegan and Kelley when they visit Colorado! Turns out the meeting up with Dan and Jay did not happen because Vail lost power and Tegan and pals went back to Beavercreek. Hopefully they can connect tomorrow. Dagmara and Kelley are both left home to man the home fronts~ Thanks girls for letting my boys see good friends and each other! I can't wait for pictures of my boys together and of Uncle Danny meeting sweet Layla bug for the first time!!
Molly last night at Camp Meme and Papa's ~ she helped with dinner.
Beckie came in the morning to pick her up and found her little girl all dolled up! We had a fashion show~ with full make up! Oh, they might have some trouble on their hands when this beauty is a teen!!

She even tried on some of her Mom's jewelry!

She loves her feet... so I added some extra pizzazz to them!

Happy New Year!

What a crazy weekend! For 10 years we have hosted a New Years Eve party here at our house. This year Dave and I decided to go out with friends! I liked the idea since we would be checking into a hotel, taking a shuttle to and from the party center and be able to have a great time with some old friends! I made the big mistake of getting my hair cut the Weds before...what was I thinking?? Good news... It will grow back!
On Sunday we had dinner with some little friends of mine and their parents! We brought home some fun new year hats!

Hey Gems~ Did You Know...

Facebook can be a wonderful thing! Dave doesn't think so but I really think if it is used properly, you can connect with so many people and friends! I was sent a friend request by a girl named Cindy. Umm, couldn't really place her face so I checked to see who her friends were, if it was anyone I knew. It was ... 2 of Dave's relatives, cousins! So I accepted. I looked on her page and at her photos and then it hit me! Cindy is Dave's cousin, her Mom and his Mom, Gertie, were sisters! Next thing I know she is posting all these great pictures from the past!!

This first picture is Cliff, Aunt Doris, Laura, Dave, Cindy's Mom Edith, Cindy, Brett and Beth! All first cousins! Just look at Dave... Adorable! We have that leg brace to this very day! Gems~ Doris and Edith were GG's sisters!

Dave's Grandma Florence, GG's momma, holding him with his sister Lynn on the left and his sister Judy on the right! I can really see the Lesjak resemblance between my girls and my gems with Lynn! She would be your great, great grandmom!

Lynn, Dave, Jim, holding Cliff and Brett! This is taken in the house where Dave grew up! His parents sold it in 1975! Dave and I bought it back in 1979~ 6 months before we were married! It just happened to be for sale! Oh the memories of that little bungalow in Fairview Park! Hey Sarah, Molly, Cayden and Mya~ your Moms were born while we lived in that very house!
