Meme's Big Sleepover!

I am at Beckie's house having a big sleepover with Molly and Sarah! We are hitting the road tomorrow for Florida! We are so excited!! Sarah, Molly and Mommy walked to the bank this afternoon...
Oh the joys of small town living. I am standing on their front porch and they have to only walk two blocks to the red building in picture... the bank!

Sophy loves to run around the kitchen,
but she really loves to be held the most!Girls have joined 4 H and she is their first project!!

Meanwhile, back in Van Wert, little Mya has sent a video! Mya does something funny when she sees others eating! Listen for Mommy and Cayden asking her if she is hungry! I think she is!!

Florida Update!

Dave is has been a busy guy in Florida! He has been finishing the master bath. He set the cabinet in and put the two mirrors up to be able to get the electrical work done. The question here is two mirrors or one big one?
I cannot wait to get down there and see the finished bathroom in person! The shower glass was installed yesterday... Dave ordered a large cabinet for over the toilet. He installed the cabinet and did all the plumbing. Plumbing is his least favorite thing to do. Monday was not a good day for Dave~ but my jack of all trades always gets the job done! I love the sleek, modern look of the shower!

It looks so great!

The master bedroom got new carpet and Dave painted all the trim and doors. Walls in bath and bedroom will be painted when I am there...just have to decide on color. What a change without the dark carpet we originally put in the bedroom!!

A new comforter and lamps will finish it off!

Only 15 days till Layla Lynn meets all her cousins~ What fun it will be! I can't wait to see how much fun she will have getting to know them all!

Only 10 days till Sarah and Molly hit the road... Beckie and I can hardly wait for the fun to begin!

Fridays~ Oh its MAGIC

Beckie is long term subbing and has asked if I would come to her house on Fridays~ early~ to get Sarah on the bus and then to hang with Molly Carolyn all day! This will be until the end of the school year. Of course I said YES!

Today Molly and I put Sarah on the bus then ran to Walmart to pick up the movie TANGLED. If you have not seen this Disney movie yet... YOU MUST. Dave and I took Sarah and Molly to the movie show to see it and we LOVED it. Dave's comment was "Too bad that don't make our movies this entertaining!" ( We had recently seen some not so good movies) Molly was excited to get home and watch the movie again!

This Rapunzel has magic hair~ hair with healing powers.

Molly decided to twist her hair...

"See, it's magic~ it makes you smile!", she said!
Molly you are the sweetest thing! Meme loves you and I think you should never, never, never, cut your hair...

What a day...

My girl and her boy...
along with this little gem,
loaded this big truck today. Cyle and Tom worked hard packing all this little families belongings on the truck.
Cayden was excited to see this BIG TRUCK filled with all their things! I told Bri to leave with the Cyle and the truck and that I would do some cleaning at the house for her!
Cayden didn't understand why Meme wasn't going to "Van Werk" in his car too.

Hugs and kisses. Tears. And off they went. Tears...

I stayed behind with Molly, who helped me cry.

She kept saying "Goodbyes are so hard, aren't they Meme?"

She cleaned with me and we cried some more when we went into Cayden's playroom and saw his little chalkboard with his name still written on it. We looked in the Jungle room and felt sad it was empty. Molly saw her old crib up in Mya's room and wondered..."Where will Mya sleep tonight?" I assured her Mya had her own crib in Van Wert, "don't worry" and we laughed and said Cayden always says that to us!! Don't Worry!

I came home to find comments on my blog from sweet friends, Roxi, Gina, Sheila, Nancy~ Thank You!

I found these beautiful flowers on my counter with a note that said...
